Welcome to the NLP4Kids Team- Shannen Herber

NLP4Kids are delighted to announce a new member to the NLP4Kids team. Shannen Herber, from Hertfordshire, is our newest NLP4Kids Practitioner. Shannen works with children and families to develop a loving dynamic in your home. Her role is to support and guide you towards the results that will transform your family into the secure base you want it to be.

Shannen was once a nursery nurse who worked with a wide range of children including those with severe communication difficulties and was able to find alternative ways to connect with them. This involved establishing a routine and developing a calmer environment to allow them to thrive.

Shannen has worked with children in highly emotional states to ease their frustration, reduce behavioural problems and violent physical outbursts by increasing their communication skills to enable them to express themselves in more appropriate ways.

In her work with parents, she has supported them to identify food intolerance to help aid a change in their child’s behaviour and how to respond appropriately to difficult behaviours at home.

Overall, Shannen sees her role as developing an understanding of every child, listening to them, allowing them to be themselves and explore who they are.

As an NLP4Kids practitioner Shannen feels that she is able to make a real difference by using her 7+ years experience in working with children and families to help guide you forward. Her skills can help you and your child deal with the variety of new situations you will find yourselves in and the emotions that come with them.

Shannen covers the following areas: Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, St Albans, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Dunstable, Luton, Watford, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield.
