About The Trainer

Pheonia Bailey
Proud Mum of two, my name is Pheonia Bailey and I’m passionate about kids! I have been tutoring 2-16yrs old (Maths/English) the last twelve years and also run poetry and drama workshops for this age group. As a poet/author, I’ve always been fascinated with language and realised that the way in which we use words, can most times affect our outcomes. Children are often taught that ‘sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt’. Speaking from the perspective of someone who’s experienced a childhood of both physical and emotional abuse, I can tell you that sticks and stones did indeed hurt but those wounds healed much quicker than the effects of hurtful words! Through NLP4Kids, my drive and desire is to help the children who cross my life’s path by teaching them the skills to realise their uniqueness, understand that they have a given purpose and to realise their own level of success in life. When kids have great self esteem, they learn to respect others and are confident to communicate this through behaviour.

About The Trainer

Louise Joslin
Children in particular can be such great fun to work with. Their boundless energy, their endless creativity and the fact that they are so open to learning new things makes them the perfect subjects to teach these skills to. It’s also great to know that I am helping to equip them with simple and effective skills that will help them throughout their lives. Having run several skills workshops in more deprived areas, as well as working on a one to one basis with both children and adults, I can honestly say that the positive results never fail to amaze me. In fact, I believe that these skills are so useful and important that they should be part of the school curriculum. This would mean that children from a very young age and from all walks of life would have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and it is my mission to make that happen. In the meantime, I will continue to share them on a one to one basis within therapy and my workshops.

About This Event

Do you enjoy working with young people?

Would you get personal satisfaction from helping ‘tomorrow’s adults’ create bigger, brighter futures for themselves?

Have you thought about coaching or NLP as a career and want a way of marketing your skills?

If so, come along to the free launch event of a brand new coaching and NLP programme and help empower tomorrow’s adults.

Over the last 7 years I have developed a series of skill sets, using NLP (neuro linguisitic programming – a set of powerful communication skills), coaching and relaxation techniques that can completely change the attitude, motivation, confidence levels and self esteem of a child or teenager.

Using these skills, you can – with both children and teenagers:

Improve self-confidence with their peers or adults

Help improve exam results

Overcome fears and phobias

Turn anxious children into confident children

Transform troubled teenagers into positive young adults

I know, from the results my team and I have been getting in schools and with private one-to-one clients that we, as adults, can make a difference to a young persons life – if we know how to approach the situation correctly with the right set of skills.

And this is what this special (possibly one-off) day is all about.

I’d like to introduce you to a new type of coaching and communication programme that has a ready made audience – the millions of young people in the UK.

I will demonstrate, by way of example and practical exercises.

How to motivate a young person to see their future differently

How to give a teenager a sense of destiny and control over their life

Why no child is ever a lost cause

How to inspire youngsters to contribute to their community

We’ll also show you how these skills can easily be marketed…

By the end of the day you will know two things:

1. Whether you want to work with young people

2. Whether our unique combination of skills and results are ones you would like to learn.

About The Trainer

George Clarke
Georgina (George!) is a trained NLP Practitioner and has worked with children and families as her main job, for the past 12 years. This has included working for local Children’s Services, health services and working with parents, carers and children and young people from 0 to 25. This work has involved things like running parent and toddler groups, sporting activities, fun days, Children’s Centres, Family Information Services, sexual health services and parents groups. “I am a mentor for children in care and have moved into using NLP techniques as I believe that they offer a quick and fun way to overcoming problems and making changes. I want to have fun with my client as well as providing a listening ear and showing them how they can make changes in their lives easily and become strong, fun, confident and successful people who enjoy their lives. I am told I am very easy to talk to and non-judgemental and I promise I will work hard to put you at your ease, make sure you have fun and help you to get the best out of life, work, school and relationships. I believe in searching for peoples strengths rather than weaknesses and follow positive psychology closely and can do strengths survey with children too which will identify their top five strengths. This helps us all figure out what we are good out, what we enjoy and work towards contributing to the world in a much more positive way. “

I will demonstrate, by way of example and practical exercises:

How to motivate a young person to see their future differently

How to give a teenager a sense of destiny and control over their life

Why no child is ever a lost cause

How to inspire youngsters to contribute to their community

We’ll also show you how these skills can easily be marketed…

By the end of the day you will know two things:

1. Whether you want to work with young people

2. Whether our unique combination of skills and results are ones you would like to learn.

I believe in searching for peoples strengths rather than weaknesses and follow positive psychology closely and can do strengths survey with children too which will identify their top five strengths. This helps us all figure out what we are good out, what we enjoy and work towards contributing to the world in a much more positive way. “
