A good teacher educates his pupils but a great teacher works to recognise and realise potential, to inspire and gain rapport. Only then can real teaching begin.
We believe in sharing our skills so that pupils can reap the benefits of NLP long after their NLP4Kids workshop has ended. We also wanted to give children access to NLP even if they are not actually attending an NLP4Kids workshops themselves. So we had the idea to teach NLP to teachers in a teacher training programme.
This way teacher’ s can use the techniques with their pupils in quite covert ways and maximize the results from pupils as they do.
Being a parent is by far one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs on the planet! Unfortunately with this particular job there is no training manual, limited feedback on your performance, and no right or wrong way of doing things. It can also be difficult to find support and many parents experience the feeling of not doing a good enough job if they have to ask for advice from a professional.
There is no right way of being a parent, but there are steps that you can take if your family relationships are not working out as well as they could be. Or perhaps you just want to be prepared for the challenging teenage years to come!
NLP4Parents involves learning some of the basic techniques of NLP that can really influence the way you and your child relate to one another. We can’ t promise that they’ ll love doing their homework as a result of you attending the course, but you will learn some great ways to provide incentives for them to get them home work done.
A child or young person with low self esteem may lack the ability to view life’s challenges and failing in any positive light. Self esteem is the marker by which we pitch our own self worth and beliefs about who we are. It is important that children develop high self esteem so that when they face difficulties in life they are able to realise that this is not caused by them being good or bad as people, or because they deserve misfortune.
Without self esteem, students and pupils may lack the ability to effectively problem solve, be creative, accept facts or respect others.
Low self esteem, if not rectified can lead to poor decision making later on and young people may be more easily influenced to take the wrong path in life in order to meet their needs to connect and find comfort.
The good news is that self esteem can be improved – restoring confidence and self belief.
We help young people by teaching them proven techniques to increase their feelings of self esteem.
Simple techniques that are comprehensible for children and teenagers can be taught and used to enable them to develop the ability to access positive feelings and thoughts.
Our team of practitioners are qualified therapists and workshop leaders who provide one to one coaching for children, teenagers and pupils to help them improve their attitude and self esteem levels.
Most children do not have crippling confidence issues and instead have confidence problems in certain aspects of their lives. However confidence issues that are not tackled can later escalate and increase into other areas. This can prevent them from taking action and doing things that they are fully capable of doing.
Pupils who do not believe in their ability in certain subjects will likely lack the enthusiasm to even try their best in that subject. This further hinders their ability to perform and reaffirms their belief that they lack the skills required to be successful.
Some students may be naturally talented in particular areas but lack the confidence to achieve to their highest ability because they have a distorted idea about what being confident means, thinking it will make them appear cocky or egotistical.
Whilst the immediate effects of low confidence levels can be obvious and easy to rectify, the long term implications of leaving such issues untreated can result in young people who are unable to follow their true and destined path in life, simply because they lack self belief and conviction in their own ability to do so.
The good news is there are effective proven techniques that can help children and teenagers increase their confidence, no matter how high or low it currently is.

Many children experience a degree of anxiety and stress around exam times and a certain amount of stress can be useful for us to help us focus. However stress and worry can also hold pupils back from reaching their full potential if the emotions become out of control.
When students are stressed and worried it is less easy for their brains to access information, even those students have previously demonstrated very positive results and promise.
Sometimes a setback can heighten the likelihood of failing at exams later. It is easy for children and teenagers to lose faith in their own abilities at a time when they feel under pressure and are also coping with the challenges of growing up!
As young people develop in maturity they may have a greater understanding of the process of exams or the implications of passing and failing them. They will probably become more convinced that there is nothing to be afraid of, yet logically knowing that there is nothing to be afraid of is very different to actually possessing the ability to remain calm.

Students and pupils learn best when their emotions are settled and they are in a happy and confident state. Even the most academic student can lose focus if they are dealing with unwanted or negative emotions. Sometimes these unwanted or negative emotions may be caused by obvious factors, such as bullying, obesity or changes in family circumstances and sometimes there may be blockages or uneven emotions that seem to occur for no apparent reason.
