What Do You Need to Know?

A Brand New Podcast
As you know I am a director at a not-for-profit company called Superheroes.
We work with people who are experiencing mental health issues by providing them with the support they need, without the costs involved. The work we do is funded by sponsorship, fundraising and donations.
As part of our fundraising strategy for 2020, we have started up a podcast which features the stories of missing children from the UK.
Our podcast helps to highlight cases of missing young people when mental health issues could be either a cause or a consequence of their disappearance.
The first case we are featuring is that of Leah Croucher, who went missing on 15th February 2020. Here’s some further info on her case:
Name: Leah Croucher
Age: 19 at time of disappearance
She went missing on 15th Feb 2019 at some point when walking towards her work at around 8:15am (seen on cctv).
Location: Leah went missing after last being seen on Buzzacott Lane, Buckinghamshire
Appearance: slim, shoulder-length brown hair, no fringe, blue eyes, round face. 5’2’’ tall, sometimes wearing glasses.
Clothing: Wearing dark jacket, grey hoodie, white shirt, black trousers and black converse. Carrying a black rucksack.
Personality: Like to spend time at home. She was not a partier. Not the sort of person to disappear. She was young in her ways. A Harry Potter fan. Mum: very quiet and stays in her room. Creature of habit. If out, home by 1am.
Her parents today said from September 2018 the normally placid 19-year-old became ‘a little bit snappy’, slightly more argumentative and would go up to her room and sulk. But her parents put it down to normal teenage behaviour.
Have you made a new friend recently, could it be Leah? To share info call or text 116000
Anyone with any information can contact police on 101 quoting reference 43190049929 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
There is a £5,000 reward for information leading to Leah’s return.
This podcast will be available to download on 15th February 2020 – 1 year after Leah’s disappearance.
