Today’s video is all about the longer-term strategies for getting rid of anxiety. These include:

Telling yourself a different story: Start to focus on what else you have in life beyond anxiety. This will help to reduce the amount of time you spend talking about it and communicating about it. All of which helps to keep it “alive” and part of your current story. 

Think about the future happening without anxiety there: This is a way to get your brain practising not feeling anxious in the future situations you will face. It helps you to release new, improved reactions. 

Push yourself: Expose yourself to the thing or situation that makes you anxious but do so in a way that still makes you feel safe. Watch the video until the end to get all of the details about how to do this.
