We’re Making a Big Change to Our Franchise Process – Here’s Why
We’re making a subtle but important change to how we handle new enquiries for our NLP4Kids coaching franchise. It’s the kind of change that most people won’t notice – but for us, it says everything about who we are and what we stand for.
Because lately, something’s been happening in our discovery process that doesn’t sit right. And it’s time to call it out.
Integrity Is the First Qualification
Here’s the deal. We are nice people. We’re not in this business to manipulate, pressure, or push you into something that doesn’t align. In fact, we’re probably the least “salesy” coaching franchise you’ll ever meet. What we do is real. It changes lives. And we want to bring in people who are just as passionate and committed as we are.
But that also means we expect a certain level of integrity in return.
Lately, I’ve been seeing a pattern – and frankly, it stinks. I’ve personally spoken to several potential franchisees this year who seemed like the perfect fit. They were enthusiastic, values-driven, intelligent, and full of potential. They made it all the way to the final stage of the process.
And then… silence.
No reply. No closure. Just vanished – like a WhatsApp message left on grey ticks and permanently unread.
Let’s be clear. I’m not asking for commitment on the spot. I understand people need time – to check dates, speak to loved ones, finalise funding. That’s normal. What’s not normal is disappearing completely, after investing hours of time into this process. And after we’ve invested ours in you.
Flakiness Isn’t Just Rude – It’s Expensive
When someone ghosts us at the end of the application journey, it doesn’t just leave us disappointed – it costs us. Time, energy, and money go into every discovery call. And more than that, it leaves a trail of unanswered questions:
Did something go wrong?
Was it something we said?
R U OK HUN?
But the harsh truth is that this isn’t about life emergencies or sudden disasters. It’s about people getting distracted. About living in a world so full of noise and dopamine hits that basic decency – like replying to a message – gets lost in the fog.
If you’re too busy to say “Thanks, but I’ve changed my mind,” then you’re definitely too busy to support the emotional needs of children and families.
We’re Not Here to Chase You – We’re Here to Build Something Bigger
Being part of an NLP4Kids coaching franchise means becoming a representative of our brand. It means working with vulnerable children and building trust with parents who are often at their wits’ end. If you can’t bring honesty and follow-through to your very first interaction with us, we know that’s not going to change later.
That’s why we’re now making a formal change to how we handle prospective franchisees:
✅ If you ghost us, you’ll be flagged in our system.
✅ We’ll make a note in our customer management system that you didn’t communicate your decision.
✅ And if you come back later, we will think twice about welcoming you in.
Because character matters. And in our world – where children’s wellbeing is at stake – it matters most of all.
How you do one thing is how you do everything. If you ghost now, we can’t trust you not to ghost your responsibilities later.
Our Coaching Franchise Needs Leaders, Not Flakes
To those of you still reading – thank you 🙏. You’re probably not the problem. In fact, you’re likely the kind of person we’d love to work with. People who respond. Who take ownership. Who are upfront, even when the answer is “no.”
And if you’re still considering joining the NLP4Kids coaching franchise, this is your invitation to move forward with purpose, integrity, and a real commitment to something bigger than yourself.
We don’t expect perfection. But we do expect integrity.
