Is your child’s mental health adversely affecting you and your family? I can make a real difference for them. I understand how immensely difficult and challenging these struggles can be. Through a free consultation, either online or face-to-face, I can assess how to quickly and effectively help your child cope better and help restore calm and happiness to your home.

Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a global NLP4Kids practitioner based in the Isle of Man.

I offer highly effective solutions for children and teenagers aimed at overcoming issues such as:

· Anxiety
· Low self-esteem
· Lack of confidence
· Bullying
· Self-harm
· Many other childhood emotional difficulties

If your child is struggling and you don’t know how to help them, through the use of NLP therapy and techniques, I can make a real difference for them. My main aim is to effect change quickly for you and your family. NLP is a proven and highly effective form of therapy that can achieve rapid results.

My approach centres around replacing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours with positive, long-lasting practical skills and strategies that help children not only cope with the challenges of modern life but also equip them with the strength and resilience that they will carry into adulthood.

I believe strongly in managing a child’s issues holistically by supporting the whole family. As a licensed NLP4Kids as well as an NLP4Parents practitioner, I can provide sessions for parents offering structured support in areas such as, how to communicate effectively with your child and creating an understanding of what unhelpful thoughts and behaviours might look like, with the express purpose of implementing the changes needed to alter these patterns and affect positive change for you and your child.

I offer a free 1-hour consultation, either face-to-face in the Isle of Man or online, in which I will assess your child’s needs and thereafter create an individualised, structured treatment plan aimed at addressing their specific issues. Typically treatment plans last between 2 to 5 sessions depending on the issue we are addressing.

While I can help with a wide range of childhood mental health problems, I have a specialist subject area in self-harm. I understand that this is a difficult subject to talk about.  Self-harm is frequently a ‘hidden’ issue, I also understand how crucially important it is to speak about it and how crippling this disorder can be. If your child is self-harming or you suspect that they are, reach out to me. As a parent who has been through this and comes out the other side, I can not only provide you with therapeutic support and interventions, but I also really do understand what you are going through.

Contact me today to book your free consultation session and start the process of reducing the stress and anxiety associated with childhood emotional challenges.

I currently have online clients located all over the world including wider regions in the UK, South Africa, Australia and Saudi Arabia.

How Does Our Therapy Help Children and Young People?

We use a combination of safe and effective therapies with children and teenagers that help them learn how to control their thoughts, emotions and behaviour. Our practitioners are specialists in working with children using a form of therapy called NLP. This stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. "Neuro" relates to the brain and "linguistic" refers to language and how it is used inside the mind and out of the mouth! "Programming" describes the patterns and habits created, learnt and followed. Using NLP techniques and strategies, (which we have adapted to be fun, safe and easy for children and teenagers to use) we give young people the skills to think in new ways so that they feel in control [Read More]

Using NLP techniques and strategies, (which we have adapted to be fun, safe and easy for children and teenagers to use) we give young people the skills to think in new ways so that they feel in control and learn to understand the world from the perspective of others as well as their own. NLP is a cognitive form of therapy, with some parallels to CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy.) Our work is effective in helping children overcome bad habits, behaviour problems, fears and self esteem problems as well as many other challenges. (See the list below for more suggestions about the types of problems we can help with.)

In addition, our practitioners may have qualifications in other specialist therapies, such as EFT/TFT (tapping techniques), Coaching, Counselling and Hypnotherapy for children.

Hypnosis is perfectly safe for children because it is a relaxed state that they already utilise when learning, watching television or doing something creative. Some children will be able to experience a deep, eyes closed relaxing trance. Young children are usually more suited to an awakened trance. This is induced when playing games, colouring or whilst other activities that our Hypnotherapy4Kids practitioners have been trained to use. Our Hypnotherapists will notice the subtle shifts in your child’s levels of awareness so that they can begin to implant suggestions for change or improvement as soon as they see that an awakened trance is achieved.

The first step in helping your child is to contact a practitioner who is local to you. You can call them on the number above or complete the contact box below if you would like the practitioner to contact you. They will conduct a consultation with you, either over the phone or in person. Once they have understood the challenges your child is facing, they will invite you and your child to meet with them. If you decide to go ahead with some therapy or coaching sessions for your child, the therapist will advise you of the best course of action. Your therapist will give you feedback and advise to help you support your child and you will remain in full control of the number of sessions you book and how often. [Read Less]
